Question 1

How does Google Play closed testing work?

Accepted Answer

Google Play requires new developer accounts to run closed testing with 12 active testers for 14 consecutive days before they can apply for production access. CloseTesting provides those 12 verified testers on real Android devices.

Question 2

How fast can I start a closed testing campaign?

Accepted Answer

Once your campaign is created and payment confirmed, testers begin joining within 24-48 hours.

Question 3

Are the testers real Google accounts on real devices?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each tester uses a personal Gmail account on a physical Android device. No emulators, no fake installs.

Question 4

Is CloseTesting compliant with Google Play policies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Testers are recruited transparently, install voluntarily, and provide genuine engagement. There is no botting or fake activity.

Question 5

Can I test with users in specific countries?

Accepted Answer

Yes. CloseTesting supports 24+ countries including India, the United States, the UK, Germany, Brazil, and Nigeria with local devices, regional payment systems (UPI, Pix, SEPA), and local cellular networks.

Question 6

What happens if a tester uninstalls the app before 14 days?

Accepted Answer

CloseTesting monitors tester activity daily. If any tester drops off, a verified replacement tester is automatically assigned to ensure your 14-day streak is never broken.
